Puyallup Police Search for Suspect Following Armed Robbery at Local Bank

PUYALLUP, Wash. — Law enforcement officials in Puyallup are seeking the public's assistance in identifying a suspect wanted in connection with an armed bank robbery that occurred on Monday afternoon.

According to reports from the Puyallup Police Department, the suspect entered a local bank branch on March 9, 2026, and approached the teller counter. The suspect brandished a handgun and demanded money from the bank employee. After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, the suspect fled the scene on foot and was last seen heading into a nearby residential area.

Puyallup police officers, along with K-9 units, searched the surrounding neighborhood immediately following the incident, but were unable to locate the suspect. The suspect is described as a male, approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall, wearing a dark hoodie, a face mask, and gloves. Police have released surveillance photos of the suspect and are asking anyone with information regarding the individual's identity or whereabouts to contact the Puyallup Police Department's investigative division.
