Ram raid at a bookmakers in Bar Hill

According to an article published on 24 November 2025 by Cambridgenews, police are investigating a ram raid that occurred at a bookmakers in Bar Hill. Officers were called to The Mall at approximately 10pm on Sunday, 23 November, following reports of a break-in.

Cambridgenews reports that a vehicle was driven into the front of the store, causing substantial damage to the entrance. Four individuals, all dressed in dark clothing and wearing balaclavas, removed a safe from the building before fleeing the scene in a vehicle. No arrests have been made at this time, and the investigation remains ongoing.

Cambridgeshire Police are appealing for anyone with information to come forward by calling 101, quoting reference 35/88938/25, or by contacting Crimestoppers anonymously.

Business owners are encouraged to review their storefront security measures and consider installing bollards or reinforced barriers to prevent vehicle-based intrusions.
