Ram-raid burglary at a Co-op store in Longridge
According to an article published on 14 March 2025, a ram-raid burglary occurred at a Co-op store located on Berry Lane in Longridge. Miltonkeynes reports that thieves used a JCB digger to smash through the storefront and remove an ATM from the wall.
Police were called to the scene shortly before 3am on 14 March. Upon arrival, officers found the JCB digger, which is believed to have been stolen, abandoned and blocking the road. The suspects reportedly used a second vehicle to flee the scene with the cash machine. As of the time of the report, the ATM has not been recovered and no arrests have been made.
The investigation into the incident is currently ongoing. Authorities are appealing for any witnesses or individuals with relevant footage to contact them by calling 101 and quoting log 0108 of March 14.
Business owners are encouraged to review their security measures and consider installing bollards or reinforced barriers to prevent vehicle-based access to their premises.
