ATM stolen during ram-raid in Dunbar
According to an article published by the Scotsman on 11 January 2026, police are searching for a gang of thieves who stole a cash machine from a shop on Countess Road in Dunbar. The incident occurred at approximately 12.50am on Saturday, 10 January 2026.
The Scotsman reports that the suspects smashed a hole in the side of the building to gain access, leaving metal fixtures and glass scattered across the car park. This event is the third ram-raid incident reported in four days, following similar attempts in Glasgow and Edinburgh on 7 January.
Police Scotland has confirmed that enquiries are ongoing. Authorities are asking anyone with information regarding the incident to contact them on 101, quoting incident number 0182 of 10 January.
