Burglary at a Co-op supermarket in Longridge
According to an article published on 14 March 2025, Lancashire Police have launched an investigation following a ram-raid burglary at a Co-op supermarket located on Berry Lane in Longridge. The incident occurred shortly before 3am on 14 March.
Men reports that a JCB digger was driven into the storefront, causing extensive damage to the building's facade. The machinery was subsequently used to pull a cash machine from the wall. Following the incident, the area was cordoned off by authorities, and Berry Lane was temporarily closed to the public.
As of the time of the report, no arrests have been made. Lancashire Police are currently appealing for witnesses or anyone with relevant footage to come forward. Individuals with information are encouraged to contact the police on 101, quoting log 0108 of 14 March.
