Ram-raid burglary at luxury fashion store in London

Two men charged following ram-raid in Westminster

According to an article published by Mylondon on 26 January 2026, two men have been charged following a ram-raid burglary at a luxury fashion store in central London. The Metropolitan Police stated that the incident occurred at an Yves Saint Laurent store on Old Bond Street, Westminster, shortly before 3am on Friday, 23 January.

Mylondon reports that Ryan Brough, 32, and Max Tyson, 25, both of Islington, are accused of using an SUV to smash into the storefront. The pair is suspected of stealing high-value items, including handbags. Both men were arrested on Friday and have been charged with conspiracy to commit burglary. They are scheduled to appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court on Monday.

The Metropolitan Police confirmed that the investigation is being handled by the Flying Squad, which has been looking into similar raids in recent months. Authorities are currently searching for a third individual believed to be involved in the incident. Inquiries remain ongoing.

Business owners are encouraged to review their security measures, including the installation of reinforced storefronts and bollards, to help prevent vehicle-based intrusions.
