Police investigate ram raid at Southmead shop
According to an article published on 23 June 2024 by Bristolpost, Avon and Somerset Police are investigating a ram raid that occurred at a Morrisons Daily store in Southmead. The incident took place on Wednesday, June 19.
Reports indicate that a car was driven through the doors of the shop on Arnside Road at approximately 6am. An offender then threatened staff members and demanded money. A quantity of cash was stolen before the individual fled the scene in a waiting vehicle. Fortunately, no staff members sustained injuries during the robbery.
The suspect is described as being of mixed race, approximately 5ft 9ins tall, and was seen wearing a green mac-style coat and a grey cap. Bristolpost reports that police are seeking the public's assistance in identifying the individual involved.
