According to an article published on 1 October 2025 by Edinburghlive, police are appealing for information following a burglary at a private home in Blackburn, West Lothian. The incident occurred on Daisyhill Court between 7.15pm and 9pm on Tuesday, 30 September.

Edinburghlive reports that jewellery with a five-figure value was stolen during the break-in. No occupants were present at the property at the time of the event. Detective Sergeant Tony Gilhooley of West Lothian CID stated that officers believe multiple individuals were involved due to the state in which the property was left. Investigators are currently reviewing local CCTV and doorbell camera footage.

Police are requesting that anyone who witnessed suspicious activity, including individuals running from Daisyhill Court or unusual vehicle movements, between 7.30pm and 9pm on the evening of the incident to contact them. Information can be provided by calling 101, quoting incident number 3460 of 30 September 2025, or anonymously through Crimestoppers at 0800 555 111.
