Daylight burglary in Bonnyrigg

According to an article published on 28 February 2026 by Edinburghlive, police in Midlothian have launched a manhunt following a burglary at a private home. The incident occurred on Rae's Gardens in Bonnyrigg on Wednesday, 25 February 2026, between 8.45am and 3.10pm.

During the break-in, a quantity of jewellery was stolen from the property. Detective Constable Aaron McCall has urged members of the public to come forward with any information that may assist the ongoing investigation. Authorities are specifically requesting that anyone who was in the area during the specified timeframe or who possesses relevant dash-cam or personal footage contact the police.
