Residential burglary reported in Gotham

According to an article published by the Nottinghampost on 14 July 2025, Nottinghamshire Police have issued a warning following a burglary at a private home in Gotham. The incident, which occurred overnight on Monday, June 14, involved intruders who allegedly gained access to the property through a small window left open.

The elderly residents discovered that a handbag containing cash had been taken and that their Nissan Qashqai had been stolen from outside the residence. The vehicle was later located and seized by authorities. Following the investigation, three boys—two aged 17 and one aged 16—were arrested on suspicion of burglary and theft of a motor vehicle. They have since been released on conditional bail while the investigation remains ongoing.
