Residential burglary in Livingston
According to an article published by Edinburghlive on 13 October 2025, police have launched an investigation following a break-in at a private home in the Deans area of Livingston. The incident occurred at a property on Deanswood Park sometime between 4:00 am on Sunday, 5 October, and 12:00 pm on Sunday, 12 October 2025.
Edinburghlive reports that intruders gained entry to the home and removed a wooden box containing a four-figure sum of cash, as well as a small black plastic box containing a three-figure sum. Detective Constable Lynn Myles has appealed for anyone who noticed suspicious activity in the area during that week to come forward. Investigators are specifically requesting that residents review any private CCTV, doorbell footage, or dash-cam recordings that may assist in identifying those responsible.
