Residential burglary reported in Percy Main
According to an article published on 1 November 2025 by Chroniclelive, a burglary occurred at a private residence in Percy Main, North Tyneside, on 8 February 2025. Daniel Leck and an accomplice broke into the property and stole a wide range of items, including two Kia vehicles valued at £15,000 and £18,000 respectively.
Chroniclelive reports that the intruders also made off with cash, jewellery, a watch, a bag, bank cards, alcohol, a Samsung Galaxy device, and various other electronics, as well as house and car keys. The suspects were subsequently tracked down and arrested.
Daniel Leck, 28, of North Shields, pleaded guilty to burglary of a dwelling and two counts of theft of a motor vehicle at Newcastle Magistrates' Court. District Judge Paul Currer has committed the case to Newcastle Crown Court for sentencing, which is scheduled for 28 November. The co-accused has already been sentenced.
