The items stolen from the home include a large Samsung television, two Fossil watches—one pink gold with a blue flowered face and one blue and gold—and a dark green and black box containing the ashes of a family member. Detective Inspector Edward Barr described the event as a distressing experience, noting the immeasurable sentimental value of the stolen ashes.

Merseyside Police are currently appealing for witnesses who may have been on Hollow Drive during the specified timeframe. Authorities are requesting that local residents check any available dashcam, CCTV, or doorbell footage for suspicious activity that could assist in the ongoing investigation.
