Robber Threatened to Stab 'Terrified' Mansfield Petrol Station Worker with Dirty Needle

MANSFIELD — A petrol station worker in Mansfield was left deeply shaken after being threatened with a dirty needle during a robbery.

The incident took place when a male suspect entered the petrol station convenience store and confronted the lone staff member. Demanding money from the till, the suspect produced a syringe and threatened to stab the employee with what he claimed was a 'dirty, infected' needle.

Fearing for their safety and health, the terrified employee complied with the demands, handing over a quantity of cash before the robber fled the scene. Following an intensive investigation by Nottinghamshire Police, a local suspect was identified, tracked down, and formally charged with robbery. The suspect has been remanded in custody and is scheduled to appear in court, facing serious criminal charges for the weapon-based threat.
