Police investigation following East Kilbride robbery

According to Dailyrecord, Police Scotland have launched a manhunt following a robbery at the Morrisons petrol station located on Lindsayfield Avenue in East Kilbride. The incident occurred in the early hours of Monday, June 9, 2025.

Emergency services were called to the scene at approximately 12:15 am. During the robbery, a male member of staff was reportedly struck with a bottle before the perpetrator fled the area. The employee was subsequently transported to the hospital for treatment. Police have cordoned off the site as part of an ongoing investigation to locate those responsible for the raid.
