Robbery reported near Retford shopping centre

According to an article published by Nottinghampost on 30 December 2025, a woman was knocked to the floor by several masked men during a robbery in Retford. Nottinghamshire Police reported that the incident occurred on 14 October as the victim walked with a man across a car park adjacent to the Bridgegate Centre.

The attackers reportedly snatched the woman’s designer handbag and took a second bag from her companion containing a Rolex watch and a significant sum of cash. The woman sustained an arm injury during the encounter.

Nottinghampost reports that four men have been arrested in connection with the incident. Adam Glover, 34, has been charged with robbery and appeared at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court on 29 December, where he was remanded into custody. Three other men, aged 36, 24, and 42, have been released on bail with strict conditions as the investigation continues.
