CHICAGO, IL — Police are investigating an overnight commercial burglary that targeted Ruman Chai Shai, a popular South Asian and Middle Eastern restaurant on Chicago's North Side. The break-in, which occurred during the early morning hours, left the local establishment with a shattered front entrance and stolen property.

According to the Chicago Police Department, officers responded to a call regarding a commercial burglary on the 6300 block of North Artesian Avenue. Upon arrival, officers discovered that the front glass door of the restaurant had been completely shattered.
