Salem Police Intercept Hardware Store Burglary; Suspect Arrested

SALEM, Oregon — A prompt response by Salem police officers successfully thwarted an attempted commercial burglary at a local hardware store, resulting in the immediate arrest of the suspect found inside the establishment.

The Salem Police Department reported that officers were dispatched to the store following an alarm activation. Upon arriving at the scene, responding units discovered signs of forced entry. Officers established a perimeter around the building before making entry into the business premises.
