San Antonio police are searching for three suspects following an armed robbery that turned violent on the city's South Side. The incident occurred on Sunday, generating concern among local residents after multiple gunshots were reported at the scene of the crime.

According to the San Antonio Police Department (SAPD), the three suspects confronted the victim, demanding valuables. During the altercation, at least one of the suspects discharged a firearm. Fortunately, no direct gunshot injuries were reported, though the suspects managed to flee the scene prior to the arrival of law enforcement officers.

SAPD has deployed resources to scour the neighborhood and is currently reviewing surveillance footage from nearby businesses.
