Seattle's Kemp's Cannabis Dispensaries Targeted in Series of Burglaries

SEATTLE, WA — Kemp's Cannabis, a popular local dispensary associated with NBA legend Shawn Kemp, was hit by multiple burglaries. In January, thieves used the 'Jaws of Life' rescue tools to pry open ATMs at the dispensary's SODO location, making off with cash. A month later, the Belltown shop was targeted in a destructive crash-and-grab heist, where suspects rammed a vehicle through the storefront.

The incidents have left the dispensaries with severe structural damage. Law enforcement officials are analyzing surveillance footage from both locations to determine if the same crew is responsible.
