Second Suspect Arrested in L.A. Frank's Restaurant Break-In Investigation
CAMBRIDGE, ON — Investigators with the Waterloo Regional Police Service have arrested a second suspect in connection with a commercial break-and-enter that took place last month at a popular local eatery.
The incident occurred on May 3, 2026, at L.A. Frank's, a well-known food establishment located near Water Street North and Park Hill Road East in Cambridge. Suspects broke into a storage shed on the property and stole approximately $1,600 worth of soda, ice cream, and other inventory, while also causing around $500 in physical damages.
Following an initial investigation, police arrested the first suspect, a 38-year-old Cambridge man, in mid-May, charging him with break and enter, theft under $5,000, and mischief. On Wednesday, June 3, 2026, police apprehended a second suspect, a 45-year-old Cambridge man.
The second suspect faces several charges, including disguise with intent, break and enter, theft under $5,000, and failure to comply with a judicial release order. Police are still searching for a third suspect described as a white male.
