According to an article published on 14 November 2025 by Walesonline, a serial burglar has been sentenced to three years in prison following a residential burglary in Cardiff. Callum Tannetta, 25, pleaded guilty to burglary and the theft of a motor vehicle at Cardiff Crown Court on 17 October.

Walesonline reports that the incident occurred on 25 February 2025, when Tannetta entered a private home and stole two games consoles, a computer, and a vehicle. South Wales Police identified the suspect after forensic evidence linked him to the crime scene. Tannetta, who has a history of similar offenses dating back to 2021, was sentenced for his latest crimes on Tuesday, 12 November.
