Series of Logan Square and Humboldt Park Burglaries Targets Lula Cafe and Three Other Local Businesses

CHICAGO, IL — Local business owners in Chicago’s vibrant Logan Square and Humboldt Park neighborhoods are on high alert after a string of early morning commercial burglaries. Among the targeted establishments was the celebrated Lula Cafe, a staple of the Logan Square community, alongside three other local storefronts. According to investigators and security footage, the burglaries took place in rapid succession, suggesting a coordinated effort by the perpetrators.

Surveillance cameras captured the suspects breaking through front entrances and quickly searching the cash registers. The owners of Lula Cafe and neighboring businesses expressed deep frustration over the damage and security breach.
