Seven Arrested in Connection with Violent San Jose Jewelry Store Smash-and-Grab Heist

San Jose Police have announced the arrest of seven suspects in connection with the violent smash-and-grab robbery at Kim Hung Jewelry that occurred in early September. The arrest marks a major breakthrough in a case that drew widespread public concern after security footage showed the brutal assault of the store's 88-year-old owner. The incident has intensified local demands for tougher penalties on organized retail crime.

The suspects, identified as members of an organized retail theft crew, were apprehended following a series of coordinated raids by local and regional law enforcement agencies.
