Seven Arrests After Break-In at Former B&M Store in Mansfield

MANSFIELD — Seven individuals have been arrested following an unauthorized entry and break-in at the former B&M retail premises in Mansfield.

Local police responded to reports of suspicious activity and potential trespassing at the vacant commercial building. Upon arriving at the site, officers secured the entry and exit points to prevent escape. They subsequently conducted a sweep of the property, locating and arresting seven suspects inside.

The building, which has been vacant since the retail store closed, remains a target for anti-social behavior and commercial trespass. Nottinghamshire Police stated that the quick action of officers prevented theft or damage to the property, and all seven individuals remain in custody assisting with ongoing enquiries. Business owners and residents are encouraged to report any suspicious behavior around closed or vacant commercial properties in the area.
