Seventh Arrest Made in Connection with Elbit Systems Ram Raid in Bristol

BRISTOL — Avon and Somerset Police have arrested a seventh suspect in their ongoing investigation into a dramatic ram-raid burglary at the Elbit Systems site in Bristol. The incident, which took place in early August 2024, has drawn significant public attention due to the nature of the target and the scale of the damage caused.

The latest arrest follows intensive investigations by counter-terrorism officers and local detectives who have been tracing the perpetrators of the raid. Activists associated with protest groups are believed to have driven a vehicle through the security gates of the defense technology firm's building, causing extensive damage to the property and disrupting operations.

Six other individuals had previously been detained in connection with the incident on charges ranging from criminal damage to aggravated burglary. Authorities confirmed that the seventh suspect, whose identity has not been released pending formal charges, is currently being questioned by detectives.
