Shop burglary in Birkdale on Christmas Day

Break-in reported at Birkdale Boutique

According to Liverpoolworlduk, a shop in the Merseyside village of Birkdale was broken into on Christmas Day. The business, Birkdale Boutique, located on Weld Parade, has been forced to close temporarily following the incident.

Merseyside Police reported that the break-in occurred at approximately 7:30pm on 25 December 2024. The incident resulted in damage to the store and the theft of a number of clothing items. Detective Inspector Sara Lang stated that an investigation is currently underway and authorities are seeking information from anyone who may have witnessed suspicious activity in the area at the time.
