Armed robbery at Banbury convenience store
According to Banburyfm, a convenience store in Banbury was targeted in an armed robbery on the morning of 31 December 2025. Thames Valley Police were called to the Quick Stop store on Warwick Road at 7.54am following reports that two men had entered the premises.
Banburyfm reports that the suspects threatened staff with a knife before stealing cash and tobacco. No injuries were reported during the incident. Detective Inspector Robert Platt has confirmed that the investigation is being treated as a priority.
Police are currently appealing for witnesses who may have been in the vicinity of Warwick Road shortly before 8am, or drivers who possess dash cam footage of the area.
