Six Ram-Raiders Use Digger to Destroy Sutton Co-op Frontage and Steal ATM

A major police appeal has been issued following a destructive ram-raid in Sutton, where a gang of six individuals utilized a stolen digger to rip an ATM from the wall of a Co-op store. The incident has caused catastrophic structural damage to the retail outlet.

The raid took place under the cover of night, when the perpetrators arrived at the scene with a heavy-duty industrial excavator. In a highly coordinated sequence, the driver of the digger repeatedly smashed the bucket of the machine into the side wall of the Co-op, crumbling brickwork and exposing the store's interior.
