Residential break-ins lead to charges in London

According to an article published on 24 March 2026 by Lfpress, six teenagers have been charged following a string of break-ins in southwest London. Police report that the incidents occurred between midnight and 4:30 a.m. on Sunday, involving suspects kicking in front doors and damaging homes.

Lfpress reports that in one instance, a homeowner confronted suspects near a white vehicle after discovering them at his door. When the man followed the vehicle, suspects allegedly fired what appeared to be firearms at him and his car. The homeowner was not injured.

Officers later located the vehicle and arrested six males, aged 13 to 17. Police seized a rifle-style airsoft gun and a handgun-style BB gun from the scene. The accused face various charges, including pointing a firearm, discharging an air gun with intent to endanger life, and multiple counts of break and enter. Investigators stated the incidents are not believed to be related to the social-media "door-kick challenge."
