Slice Factory Pizzeria Struck by Burglars on 35th Street in Bridgeport

CHICAGO, IL — Police are investigating a commercial burglary at the popular Slice Factory pizzeria located on Chicago's South Side in the historic Bridgeport neighborhood.

According to the Chicago Police Department, the break-in took place at the pizzeria's location on West 35th Street. Burglars forced their way into the restaurant during the night by shattering glass near the entrance, allowing them to gain access to the main counter area. Inside, the suspects targeted the point-of-sale registers and attempted to secure cash before quickly leaving the scene.
