Smash-and-grab burglary occurs at South Shore sportswear store in Chicago

A DTLR sportswear store located in the South Shore neighborhood of Chicago was the target of a smash-and-grab burglary early Thursday morning. Thieves gained entry to the business by breaking through the storefront entrance, an act that reportedly took only moments to complete.

This incident is identified as one of four recent smash-and-grab burglaries reported in the Chicago area. Authorities noted that a Jeep was utilized in the commission of these crimes.
