Southeast D.C. Resident Reports Home Invasion by Burglars Dressed in Bikinis

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Police are investigating a highly unusual home invasion in Southeast Washington after a victim reported that several women wearing bikinis pushed their way inside their home to commit a robbery.

A Strange Confrontation

The resident told investigators that they answered a knock at the door, expecting a neighbor or package delivery. Instead, they were confronted by multiple female suspects dressed in swimwear. The suspects immediately forced their way past the resident, ignoring demands to leave, and began searching the home for valuables.

The intruders managed to take several electronic items and personal belongings before fleeing the scene in an unknown direction. The Metropolitan Police Department is actively searching for witnesses or security footage from the surrounding neighborhood to trace the suspects' movements.
