Southwest Houston Homeowner Killed in Deadly Gunfight on Ludington Drive

A southwest Houston neighborhood was shaken by violence when a homeowner was fatally shot during a gunfight at a residence on Ludington Drive.

The shooting took place at a home located on Ludington Drive near Sandpiper Drive. According to the Houston Police Department, responding officers discovered the homeowner suffering from multiple gunshot wounds inside the property. Emergency medical personnel pronounced the victim deceased at the scene.

Preliminary reports indicate that a gunfight occurred, suggesting an exchange of fire between the homeowner and one or more suspects.
