Springfield Police Apprehend Suspect Following Dollar Store Burglaries

SPRINGFIELD, OH — A series of targeted burglaries at a local dollar store came to an end after Springfield police successfully apprehended a suspect. The arrest followed a pattern of break-ins that had put local businesses and law enforcement on high alert.

The situation escalated when store employees placed a frantic call to emergency dispatchers. In the recorded 911 call, an employee could be heard stating, “We just got robbed here at the dollar store,” prompting immediate dispatch of police units to the scene.
