Stoke-on-Trent Salon Targeted in Early Hours Break-In by 'Scumbag' Intruder

A business owner in Stoke-on-Trent has spoken of their shock and anger after their local beauty salon was targeted in an early hours raid by an intruder. The salon owner, who branded the burglar a "scumbag," discovered the break-in when arriving to open the premises, finding the main lock forced open and the interior in disarray.

The incident occurred in the early morning hours, with the perpetrator using tools to bypass the salon's physical security measures. Once inside, the suspect ransacked the reception area, till, and storage rooms, targeting high-value hair and beauty products, professional styling tools, and the float money left in the cash register.

Staffordshire Police are investigating the commercial burglary and have carried out forensic examinations at the scene. "This is a devastating blow for a small business that relies heavily on its daily operations," a police spokesperson commented. "We are actively reviewing local security footage to trace the suspect's movements before and after the break-in."
