Stolen Brooks Shoes Recovered in Newberry Springs

A Barstow sheriff's deputy recovered more than $87,000 worth of suspected stolen Brooks shoes during an early morning vehicle check in Newberry Springs. The discovery occurred after a man fled from a box truck.

The merchandise has been recovered as evidence, and an investigation into the incident is currently ongoing.
