Stolen Porsche Cayenne used in dramatic ram-raid at Weston-super-Mare Asda store

Police in Somerset are investigating a high-value ram-raid at an Asda supermarket in Weston-super-Mare, where a stolen Porsche Cayenne was used to smash through the front entrance of the store. The luxury SUV was subsequently abandoned by the suspects at a nearby location.

The incident occurred during the early hours of the morning when the vehicle was driven repeatedly into the glass frontage of the supermarket, causing significant structural damage. Once inside, the perpetrators targeted specific items before fleeing the scene. The police were alerted by automated security alarms and arrived to find the storefront shattered.

Shortly after the break-in, officers located the Porsche Cayenne abandoned nearby. Forensic teams have been examining the vehicle and the store entrance for DNA and fingerprint evidence.
