The operation unfolded on May 24, 2024, when officers tracked the signal of a recently reported stolen car. The tracking led them to an industrial unit where they discovered the stolen vehicle alongside several others in various stages of disassembly. Police secured the site and have launched a comprehensive investigation to trace the individuals operating the illicit workshop, which is suspected of being linked to a wider car theft ring in the West Midlands.
