Stolen Vehicle Used in Brazen Smash-and-Grab at West Phoenix Streetwear Store

PHOENIX, Arizona — A local streetwear and shoe boutique in West Phoenix was targeted in a destructive smash-and-grab burglary early Thursday, July 24, 2025. The suspects used a stolen vehicle to break through the storefront before stealing valuable merchandise.

According to the Phoenix Police Department, the incident occurred during the early hours of Thursday morning. Surveillance video captured a vehicle backing up and ramming into the front entrance of the store at high speed, shattering the glass doors and destroying the metal security gates. Several suspects then entered the damaged building, quickly grabbing shoes, apparel, and other items before fleeing in a secondary vehicle.

The owner of the boutique expressed devastation over the significant property damage and loss of inventory. Local business owners in the area are calling for increased security and patrol presence in West Phoenix. The police have recovered the vehicle used in the crash, which had been reported stolen prior to the burglary, and are actively pursuing leads to locate the suspects involved.
