Substantial Stock Stolen in Early Morning Ram-Raid at Harehills B&M Store

Detectives in Leeds are investigating a high-value commercial burglary after a B&M Bargains retail store in the Harehills area was targeted in an early morning ram-raid. A "substantial amount" of inventory was stolen during the incident, leaving the store front severely damaged.

West Yorkshire Police officers were dispatched to the B&M outlet on Torre Lane at approximately 06:30 GMT on Thursday, following reports of a vehicle being used to breach the building's entrance. Upon arrival, officers discovered significant structural damage to the front facade of the store. A police cordon was immediately erected and remained in place throughout the afternoon as crime scene investigators gathered forensic evidence.

The investigation is currently being led by the Leeds District Crime Team. Officers are reviewing local CCTV footage and appealing to commuters or residents who may have witnessed suspicious activity, or who have dashcam footage from Torre Lane and the surrounding Harehills area around the time of the incident, to come forward.
