Sunset Strip Dispensary Targeted by Burglars for the 'Sixth or Seventh Time'

WEST HOLLYWOOD, CA — A cannabis dispensary located on the iconic Sunset Strip in West Hollywood has once again fallen victim to a commercial burglary, marking what the store manager describes as the sixth or seventh break-in at the location.

The incident, which took place in the early hours of August 25, 2025, has reignited frustrations among local business owners regarding retail security and crime in the area. According to a store manager interviewed by KTLA, the burglars targeted the dispensary, bypassing security measures to gain access and steal merchandise.

“This is the sixth or seventh time we've been targeted,” the manager lamented, pointing out the mounting costs of repairs and stolen product. The recurring nature of these incidents highlights a persistent challenge for high-value retail establishments along the Sunset Strip, despite investments in private security and surveillance equipment.

The West Hollywood Sheriff's Station is actively investigating the break-in. Authorities are reviewing security footage from the dispensary and neighboring businesses in an effort to identify the suspects. No arrests have been made at this time, and police are urging anyone with information to contact local law enforcement.
