Surveillance Images Released After Armed Robbery at Macon Texaco Gas Station

MACON, Georgia — Investigators with the Bibb County Sheriff's Office are asking for the public's assistance in identifying a suspect involved in an armed robbery at a local gas station over the weekend.

The incident occurred on the evening of February 16, 2026, at the Texaco service station located in Macon. According to sheriff's deputies, an unidentified suspect entered the store, brandished a firearm, and demanded money from the clerk on duty. After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, the suspect fled the premises.

To aid in the investigation, deputies have released surveillance images capturing the suspect during the crime. The suspect was seen wearing dark clothing and covering their face. No injuries were reported to the store staff during the robbery.

The Bibb County Sheriff's Office is actively investigating the incident and urges anyone who recognizes the suspect or has any information about the armed robbery to contact investigators or Crime Stoppers immediately.
