Suspect Apprehended Following Fatal Home Invasion Robbery in St. Petersburg

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — A suspect has been arrested in connection with a deadly home invasion robbery that left one man dead and another wounded in St. Petersburg.

The St. Petersburg Police Department reported that officers responded to a residential address following reports of gunshots. Inside the residence, they discovered two male victims suffering from gunshot wounds. One victim succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene, while the second was transported to a local hospital for emergency treatment.

Following a rapid investigation, police identified and apprehended a suspect on April 18. The individual faces charges of first-degree felony murder and home invasion robbery as the investigation continues.
