Suspect Arrested in Armed Robbery of Raleigh Circle K Gas Station

RALEIGH, N.C. — Raleigh police have arrested a suspect in connection with an armed robbery at a Circle K gas station on New Bern Avenue, following a collaborative investigation by local law enforcement officers.

The incident occurred late in the evening when a man entered the convenience store, showed a firearm, and demanded cash from the register. The suspect fled the scene on foot before police arrived. Fortunately, the store clerk was not physically injured during the robbery.

Thanks to surveillance camera footage and statements from witnesses, Raleigh investigators were able to identify and locate the suspect shortly after the incident. He was taken into custody without further incident and now faces multiple charges, including robbery with a dangerous weapon. Authorities are investigating whether the suspect may be linked to other recent commercial robberies in the Raleigh area.
