Suspect Burglars Miami Beach Eatery Twice, Draws Gun on Worker

Police in Miami Beach are searching for an armed burglar who targeted a local restaurant on two separate occasions and threatened a worker with a gun. Security footage from the establishment shows the suspect entering the premises after hours and searching the register area.

During one of the break-ins, an employee encountered the suspect. Rather than fleeing, the perpetrator pulled out a handgun and pointed it at the worker to secure his escape. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, but the incident has left the restaurant staff and local business community on high alert.

The Miami Beach Police Department has released the surveillance tape to the public, hoping that someone will recognize the suspect's distinct features or clothing. Charges of armed burglary and aggravated assault with a firearm are pending the suspect's arrest.
