Suspect Identified in CVS Robbery Following Fayetteville Police Officer-Involved Shooting

FAYETTEVILLE, North Carolina — Authorities have officially identified the suspect involved in a Fayetteville police officer-involved shooting that took place following an attempted robbery at a CVS pharmacy. The identification comes one day after the suspect was shot by officers during the high-stress encounter.

According to police reports, officers responded to an active robbery call at the pharmacy. Upon arrival, a confrontation ensued, leading officers to discharge their service weapons and strike the suspect. The injured suspect was immediately transported to a local hospital for medical treatment under police custody.
