Suspect in Black Attempted Roof-Level Break-In on Worth Avenue

PALM BEACH, FL — A commercial building along Palm Beach's famous Worth Avenue was the target of an unusual rooftop burglary attempt, according to local police reports.

Investigators with the Palm Beach Police Department stated that a suspect clad entirely in black clothing attempted to gain access to the premises. The individual managed to scale the structure and reach a rooftop landing, where he attempted to force open a door leading into the interior of the building. The break-in attempt was unsuccessful, and the suspect fled the area before officers arrived on the scene.
