Suspects Ram Vehicle into Nashville Armory, Steal Six AR-15 Rifles

NASHVILLE, Tennessee — Metro Nashville police are actively searching for a group of suspects who used a vehicle to break into a local gun shop and armory early Tuesday morning, fleeing with multiple high-powered firearms.

According to investigators, the suspects drove a vehicle directly through the front facade of the Nashville armory, shattering the entrance and allowing quick access inside. Once inside the store, the perpetrators targeted specific displays, stealing six AR-15 semi-automatic rifles within minutes.

The incident occurred around 3:30 AM at the armory. The vehicle used in the crash was later found abandoned a few miles away, and is believed to have been stolen. Business owners in the area expressed concern over the safety of the community given the high-powered nature of the stolen weaponry.

Surveillance images released by the Metro Nashville Police Department show the suspects inside the heavily damaged storefront before they made their getaway in a secondary vehicle. Police have urged anyone with information regarding the suspects or the whereabouts of the stolen firearms to contact local authorities immediately.
