Suspects Sought Following Armed Robbery in Florence County

FLORENCE COUNTY, South Carolina — The Florence County Sheriff's Office has launched an active search for suspects involved in a commercial armed robbery that occurred late Monday night.

According to law enforcement officials, the suspects entered the establishment brandishing handguns and demanding cash from employees. After securing an undisclosed amount of money, the individuals fled the scene on foot before officers arrived.

Deputies set up a perimeter and deployed K-9 units to track the suspects, but no immediate arrests were made. Investigators are currently reviewing surveillance footage from the store and surrounding businesses to obtain clearer descriptions of the perpetrators.

"We are asking the community to look closely at the description of these suspects and contact us immediately if they have any information," said a representative from the Sheriff's Office. "Any detail, no matter how small, could assist our investigators in resolving this case and keeping our streets safe."

Authorities warn that the suspects are considered armed and dangerous. Members of the public are advised not to approach them but to report any sightings or tips directly to the Florence County Sheriff's Office or local emergency services.
